Papers, 1929 - 1933 consisting of correspondence from two female acquaintances at UNC, a postcard, 1921, from his mother, Amanda Mary Smith Adams, re her visit to gardens and other sights in Charleston, S.C.; letter, 16 July 1935, from R.M. Stephan of the Department of Romance Languages at University of South Carolina asking about the summer school program at Middlebury College. Also included is a White House Reception card, 14 Mar 1929, with note, "shook hands with Mrs. [Lou Henry] Hoover."
